About the Role:

A day in the life: Our experienced concrete restoration technician will have extensive knowledge and ability to perform this trade. As a concrete restoration tech, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of concrete restoration and non-mechanical service work, ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal of various concrete surfaces. This position will work as part of a team to complete tasks such as power washing, concrete demo, concrete restoration, small concrete pours, miscellaneous construction projects, floor repairs and coatings, media blasting, and steel painting.

On a given day, as a Restoration Tech, you will:

• Traveling 5 days at a time out of state with overnight travel.
• Preparing concrete surfaces for restoration involves thoroughly cleaning (pressure washing), removing contaminants, and ensuring proper adhesion of repair materials.
• Implement strengthening and reinforcement measures for concrete structures, such as rebar installation.
• Perform wet and dry cutting, prepping, grinding, and applying coating systems to concrete slabs.
• Perform media blasting and apply coating systems to structural steel.
• Conduct non-structural maintenance repairs on ceramic, vinyl, and carpet tiles, as well as rubber flooring systems
• Perform concrete patching, crack repair, and surface refinishing using various techniques, including epoxy injections and shotcrete application.
• Skillfully restore concrete surfaces to their original appearance or apply new finishes as per project specifications.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Schedule & Travel:

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday with 10- to 12-hour shifts. This is a traveling position that will be on the road 95% of the time. The company covers all travel expenses, lodging, and food after the first meal while traveling.

The qualified candidate we seek is a Concrete Restoration Tech with these QUALIFICATIONS:

• A current and valid driver’s license with current auto insurance.
• Able to lift, carry, and move 50 pounds or less. As well as frequently walk and stand for 8–10 hours a day.
• Good manual dexterity and multi-coordination.

And these COMPETENCIES:

• Material Selection: The ability to mix and apply multiple products, including plural component products, in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, ie: Product data and safety data sheets

• Equipment Operation: Proficient in handling and operating specialized tools and equipment used in concrete restoration work, including drills, grinders, pumps, and spray machines.

• Mathematical Skills: Basic understanding of measurements, calculations, and ratios involved in concrete mixing, patching, and repair.

• Physical Stamina: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting and assisting colleagues as needed to achieve collective project goals.

• Adaptability: Flexibility in adapting to changing business needs and schedule.

• Professionalism: Upholds a professional demeanor, exhibiting reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Additional Qualifications Desired:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 or more years of experience as a concrete restoration technician or in a relevant role.
• 1-2 years of experience pressure washing and applying coating systems.
• Ability to work in a work environment that would be exposed to cold, heat, humidity, dust, and concrete.
