Position Description: Options Medical Weight Loss is an award-winning medical weight loss clinic, providing unique and personalized plans for individuals across the country. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Lead Weight Loss Health Coach (LWLHC) primary job responsibilities includes educating, motivating, and coaching patients through their personalized Options program, serves as the leader of the Weight Loss Counseling department at their assigned clinic which includes mentoring the Weight Loss Counselor Team and managing the Options Medical Weight Loss Marketplace Position Responsibilities: \tIs an expert on and educates patients and staff on Options programs.
\tCoach, mentor and develops counselors & staff.
\tCollaborates with marketing to ensure the appropriate assets are provided to ensure a successful campaign.
\tOversees clinic product inventory levels.
\tCompletes product inventory as outlined by the company's inventory policies.
\tResponsible for patient retention and membership growth for the clinic
\tWork with clinic leadership to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals and related plans.
\tResponsible for management and oversight of clinic in the absence of clinic leadership when needed.
\tManages quota for products, services, and patient sessions serviced for all counselors in clinic.
\tManages all patient metrics including body composition, visceral fat level, basal metabolic rate (BMR),water/electrolyte balance, etc using a biometric impedance scale.
\tHelps patients create weekly SMART goals, stay focused on their goals, build their confidence, and cultivate their commitment to achieving their desired outcomes.
\tAdministers and trains patients on how to administer their own subcutaneous and intramuscular injections(training provided)
\tCaptures patient progress photos. Competencies: \tIntermediate knowledge of computers and phone systems
\tHigh energy and enthusiasm for helping people.
\tAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
\tUnderstanding of all HIPAA and OSHA standards
Required Education/Experience : Required Education/ Experience - \tHealth Coach or similar nutrition health science certification required.
\tBachelors degree in nutrition, physiology, exercise science, health sciences, or related field preferred
\tDiet and nutrition counseling experience required
\tOne year of inventory and budget management
\tOne year of people management experience, including setting and reaching quotas
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and may be required to lift up to 25 lbs. $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 Annually
