Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) - Drone as First Responder

As a DFR Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) I am be responsible for supporting quick call response times and flight safety standards through consistent equipment readiness and maintenance, flight management, and clear communication with the dispatch operator

Full-time and Part Time available

Starting Pay:

$18.00hr

Responsibilities

• Monitoring in-flight drone performance to ensure overall mission safety
• Maintain equipment readiness and maintenance of drone at all times
• Troubleshoot the aircraft and network systems to maintain Mission Readiness (Training and Support available)
• Maintain visual of drone and airpace during VLOS flights
• Maintain airspace awareness during BVLOS flights
• Maintain compliance with FAA rules and guidelines for sUAS Operations
• Maintain radio communication with the sUAS team
• Troubleshoot the aircraft and network systems to maintain Mission Readiness (Training and Support available)
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checklists

Qualifications

• Part 107 certified
• Able to produce proof of flight hours. (30hrs of flight time preferred)
• Able to communicate clearly
• Be able to lift 50lbs
• Comfortable working outside for long periods of time
• Able to stand for long periods of time
