We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative/Personal Assistant in Midland, Texas. This role is within the telecom industry, specifically focusing on the accounting function. The successful candidate will be based in an office environment, handling a variety of tasks including personal accounting, errands, scheduling, and other duties as required.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all personal accounting tasks with accuracy and diligence
• Run personal errands as directed, ensuring efficiency and timeliness
• Manage scheduling tasks, coordinating appointments and meetings as necessary
• Respond to ad-hoc requests and duties as they arise
• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and Word to manage data and maintain records
• Conduct bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are kept up to date
• Make travel arrangements as required, ensuring all plans are well-organized and timely
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Accurately perform data entry tasks, ensuring all records are up to date and accessible.• Minimum of 1+ years experience in an Accounting Clerk role or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential
• Experience in bookkeeping and data entry is required
• Ability to handle personal errands when necessary
• Capable of scheduling tasks and organizing travel arrangements efficiently
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is expected
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
