Our client, a leading architecture and design company based in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a motivated individual with strong accounts payable experience and a proven background effectively supporting the accounting and finance department.
 

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
• Manage accounts payable transactions, including verifying coding, obtaining approvals, and processing payments.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions to support financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related roles preferred.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in reviewing and processing invoices and expense reports.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and colleagues.
• Possess strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and contribute to financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel for data entry and analysis.
