Full-Time Paraprofessional - School-Based Role

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Paraprofessional for a full-time contract position in Placerville, CA. This school-based role requires candidates to meet all local and state regulatory requirements, possess a high school diploma, and either have 2 years of higher education (an associate's degree) or a relevant state license. Candidates with experience working with special education students and their families are highly preferred.

Job Duties:

1. Supporting Students: Assist special education students in their academic and social development, providing individualized support as directed by teachers and specialists.

2. Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans, facilitate activities, and ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

3. Behavioral Support: Help manage student behavior using positive reinforcement techniques, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention methods as necessary.

4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information, following confidentiality protocols and school policies.
