Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and distribution processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

• Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping of fastener products.

• Develop and implement efficient inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

• Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and procurement of materials.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for warehouse staff.

• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and streamline picking, packing, and shipping processes.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to fulfill orders and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and best practices in warehouse management and logistics.

• Perform other job duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a fastener or manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.

• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
