Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Columbus OH 100% onsite 

Pay Range: $20 to $25 p/h w-2
12 month contract

What’s the Job?

  • The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for preparing, posting, verifying and recording customer payments and transactions to the accounts receivable.
  • Maintains and updates customer files, including billing contact information.
  • Works closely with the collection team to identify and clear past due accounts.
  • Creates reports regarding status of customer accounts as requested.
  • Assists in reconciling general ledger and customer accounts monthly.
  • Investigates and resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions in a timely manner.
  • Identifies problems and inconsistencies within the accounts receivable process and recommend appropriate corrective procedures.
  • Monitors credits on accounts and posts them in a timely fashion.
  • Supports with other related duties as needed.

 

What’s Needed?

  • 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience with SAP, or similar system preferred
  • Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
  •  Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile data and analyze variances
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.
  • Travel when required
