Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH is seeking a Video Producer who will play a pivotal role in shaping our training videos, bringing them to life with their innovative approach. Their responsibilities will span the entire video production spectrum, from conceptualization to post-production perfection.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Participates in the design of video graphics, titles, music, and creative look of CXO training videos; makes editorial decisions regarding assembly of information, illustrations, and content
  • Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards
  • Sourcing music, stock footage, and other footage when necessary
  • Ability to manage video production process from beginning to end (pre-production, production, post-production)
  • Manage post-production process when needed, working with editors and motion graphics to execute the creative vision

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three plus years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

 

  • Must have a firm understanding of all aspects of video production, including production equipment, lighting techniques, cameras/lenses, audio, and video editing
  • Comfortable with basic on-site filming and photography
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software, with an emphasis on Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator 
  • Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; isn't upset when things are up in the air; doesn't have to finish things before moving on; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty
  • Work independently and proactively; you know when to get others involved, and how to work with peers inside and outside Creative and Production teams
  • Establishes and builds relationships with requesters inside the team and across the business; responsive and adaptable to feedback and change
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills; the ability to form strong relationships with all levels of corporate and field organizations
  • Flexible and able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
