Transportation Engineer

Top Columbus, Ohio Civil Engineering firm, with a Transportation and Traffic division, is looking for a Traffic Engineer to join their team.

Requirements include:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Traffic Engineering

·        Professional Engineer registration in Ohio, or ability to obtain

·        5-10 years of professional experience in traffic engineering study standards and practices, and familiarity with traffic control and traffic signal design plans

·        Ability to perform and oversee preparation the preparation of traffic studies, analysis, and proficiency with Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/Sim Traffic

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a team environment

·        ODOT prequalification preferred for Interchange Modification Studies and Safety Studies
