Job Description
Responsible for managing creative projects through an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, branding, art, photography, video, and layout techniques. The candidate should have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, brochures, email communications, and product packaging. Ultimately, the Graphic Designer establishes and implements design and format standards and processes to produce a wide range of consistent, high-quality marketing tactics that are executed on tight deadlines. In addition, the position could also evaluate and assess any outside contractors, vendors or suppliers and coordinate projects with those parties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with marketing team members and internal / external business partners (e.g., Sales, IT, Manufacturers) to present concepts and develop creative solutions, then translate those solutions through a variety of channels and tactics
· Lead the creative process related to new product development through the dealer, e-commerce and retail channels including product brand identity, naming, and positioning
· Oversee select design projects, working with the Corporate Marketing Manager and creative team to help execute a visual concept through final production
· Ensure projects and tactics are produced on time, to budget and to a high-quality standard
· Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics and refine images, fonts and layouts
· Increase user experience of online e-commerce stores, providing enhanced functionality, improved searchability, and a robust display of product content
· Review other team members’ work to ensure high quality and brand standards are met
· Stay up-to-date with cutting edge industry developments and tools
· Other related tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
· BS degree in Design, Visual Arts or similar discipline.
· 3+ years in professional graphic design, either with a creative agency or organization’s marketing department
· Broad portfolio of completed design projects which demonstrates expertise across a range of platforms.
· Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
· Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts.
· Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions.
· Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Briggs and Stratton engines are incorporated into products for both the consumer market and industrial/commercial applications. We are also responsible for the sales and marketing of Briggs and Stratton Power Products including consumer and commercial generators, consumer and commercial pressure washers. We also distribute Oregon Equipment Parts, Oregon Cutting Systems, and several other allied parts lines.
