Lead Water Restoration Technician (Startup/leader)

RestoPros of Columbus West is in search of an entrepreneurial Lead Water Restoration Technician. This role is mainly responsible for performing water mitigation for residential and commercial properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating “on call / emergency response” requirement. This role will quickly grow to become a leader of a team of helpers and technicians, therefore high-level performance of water mitigation according to the industry specifications are required.

Job Duties:

· Must be able to explain the mitigation and repairs process to prospective customers

· Scope the damage and perform mitigation services- extraction, drying and spraying

· Provide documentation to the estimator for approval

· Develop moisture mapping and create drying log

· Be capable of carrying heavy loads of debris, damaged materials, and equipment

· Ensure all company owned equipment and vehicles are properly cared for

· Attend certification classes as needed

Qualifications:

· Must have valid IICRC WRT certification

· High School Diploma | GED

· Basic math skills

· Have excellent customer service skills

· Be ready, willing, and able to work overtime, evenings, and weekends

· Be able to work unsupervised

· Have a great attitude, be trustworthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality

· Willingness to undergo a background check -must have clean criminal history, driving record and valid drivers’ license

· Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory equipment

Experience | Some Combination of:

· Water Mitigation, 3-5 years

· Restoration, 3-5 year

· Construction, 3-5 year

Job Type: Full-time

· Expected hours: 40-60 hours/week

· Pay: $26.00 - 30.00$ per hour plus signing bonus
