Position Description

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time All-Source Analyst to join a team performing multidisciplinary Blue Team assessment work on behalf of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Blue Team assessments aim to ensure continuity to DoD missions and critical infrastructure by assessing infrastructure vulnerabilities against a broad spectrum of threats including accidents, natural disasters, technological failure, information system attacks, terrorists, radio frequency weapons (RFW), sabotage, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

As an analyst you will conduct vulnerability assessments of critical defense facilities alongside a team of subject matter experts. You will coordinate pre-assessment requirements and scope assessments. You will also work with DTRA and contractor staff to perform on-site assessments, prepare briefings, and write assessment reports. You will also provide recommendations for eliminating or mitigating vulnerabilities to assessed facilities. You will work at DTRA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify broad range of threats to Department of Defense (DoD) installations, sites, infrastructure, and assets.
  • Coordinate vulnerability assessment activities including pre-site surveys, on-site assessment activity, and post-assessment briefings.
  • Analyze information obtained during the course of assessment activities and indicate threat actors, capabilities, and tactical concerns to develop hazard and threat assessments.
  • Collaborate with Blue Team members on assessment activities.
  • Document and communicate analysis findings.

What You Will Need:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • 2 or more years of technical analysis experience.
  • Experience in intelligence analysis, strategic planning, system operations, or command and control architecture.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite at Ft. Belvoir location full-time.
