About this job
Do you like researching, documenting, and creating processes? The Missouri Veterans Commission is looking for a Scope Writer to help us develop a scope of work for a new Electronic Health Record system. This position will put your detective skills to the test as you research, compose, organize, and edit all components required for this short-term temporary project. An understanding of the consulting industry, in addition to well-developed articulation skills to help break down complex technical solutions, is what we are looking for in a successful candidate.
Salary: $100/hr

Examples of Work
- Compose, review, analyze, edit, and summarize technical documents, materials and reports
- Research, develop, and disseminate requested information
- Consult and conduct interviews with subject matter experts, key personnel, and program managers to understand the customer's unique needs and functionality requirements, business drivers, and problems
- Participate in strategy and solutioning sessions with MVC team members to generate content
- Coordinate, edit, and maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Participate in regular check-ins with key stakeholders for project updates and presentations
Qualifications
Must demonstrate the following obtained through professional work experience or through completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field:
- Experience working with, implementing, and/or writing business cases, charters, and/or scopes of work for Electronic Health Records
- Experience working with large scale projects over $400,000
AND
- 3 or more years of experience is preferred
