Store Designer II

Kavaliro has partnered with a client in New York who is seeking a Store Designer II. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of retail spaces, including concept creation, space planning and fixture design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, and Visual Merchandising, to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives. Create 2D and 3D renderings, mood boards, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative retail design strategies. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in retail design, preferably in the beauty or luxury industry. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools. Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
