Production Chef

Orange county baking industry seeks a full-time Production Chef to work at its office in Brea, CA. Candidate must have at least a High School/GED diploma, with 36 months of prior experience as Chef or Head Chef or Cake Chef or Bread Chef or Pastry Cook or Baker. Domestic travel is required. Domestic travel to visit stores across California, Texas, Washington, Nevada, Hawaii, Utah, Arizona and Oregon to assess the successful implementation of new and existing products, with each trip lasting 3-7 days. Candidate duties will include: Manage large-scale production of bakery goods, including bread, cakes, and pastries. Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet the company's quality standards. Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff engaged in food preparation. Plan production schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of cake or bakery items. Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations. Analyze recipes to assign prices to products, based on food and labor cost. Conduct training sessions to showcase new baking techniques and demonstrate the operation of equipment to pastry cooks and bakers. Candidate must have 36 months of work experience using Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word, and experience in developing new cake and bread recipes and large-volume food production.
