Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Payroll Analyst Position type: Fulltime/Contract Location: Plainsboro, NJ - 08536 Duration: 06 Months Schedule: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST Remote Role As a Payroll Analyst, you: Must Haves: 1. Inpat/Expat processing experience and Canada processing. 2. Excel work office suite intermediate level 3. Strong core payroll knowledge 4. ADP Global View preferred 5. ADP eTime experience preferred 6. 5+ years hands-on payroll experience, not just managing Accountabilities: Responsible for processing, monitoring & maintenance of payroll data. Identifies process improvement initiatives. Prepares various special pay calculations. Prepares payroll upload & reports, as needed. Responsible for employee garnishments, fringes & payments. Serves as back-up to full scope of payroll. Responsible for multi-state payroll set up, compliance & processing. Maintains systems to provide accurate reporting. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal & state laws. Responsible for expatriate pay calculations & monitors net pay calculations each pay period. Ensures proper programming of payroll system for special calculations & compliance, engaging ADP to create change requests & thorough testing of solutions. Ensures timely follow through on payroll inquiries. Supports cross-functional team within P&O & other departments, as required. Provides seamless year-end & year-begin processes. Identifies & manages payroll quality control standards. Education: BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education & experience. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Payroll Processing experience (not just managing) Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, mail/email merges, presentations) • Must have multistate experience, Inpat/Expat processing experience, and Canada processing • SAP or ADP Payroll processing preferred. • APA Certified Payroll Professional (CPP or FPC) preferred. • ADP Global View highly preferred • ADP eTime system preferred • SAP/HR system • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. • Prior experience in HR environment. • Working knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) as well as all Federal, State & Local tax laws.
