Local Driver/Warehouse - Seasonal

We are a local dairy/frozen food-service distributor looking for a driver/warehouse helper. We are looking for a responsible person to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dependable team player who has great interpersonal skills. This job is also a hybrid position where you would be spending some time performing basic warehouse duties as well. Receive trucks coming in, putting product away and pulling and loading trucks.

This job may sometimes involve repetitive heavy lifting and there can be some long days. We are looking for a team player to fit in and join our team of existing long term employees. There is potential that this could turn into a long term position that is not just seasonal.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and in various routes/areas in the Greater Albany and surrounding areas

- Follow routes and time schedule

- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

- Provide excellent services and resolve customer complaints when they arise in a professional manner

-Collect payments

- Inform customers about new products and services

- Complete logs and reports

- Follow DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards

- Comfortable with a handcart and doing warehouse work

- Team player mentality

Requirements:

- Proven working experience as a delivery driver

- clean valid professional drivers license.

- Good driving record

- Ability to safely operate refrigerated straight truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- High school education or greater
