- Inserting, monitoring and removing an IV used to give medications and nutrition to a patient.
- Monitoring the patient for adverse reactions.
- Ensuring that the tubing, bandages and needle stay in place.
- Assessing an IV site.
- Priming and hanging a primary IV bag.
- Proper documentation in EMR
