PHARMACY TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:
- Receiving and processing prescription orders.
- Entering prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy system.
- Verifying insurance coverage and processing claims.
- Communicating with patients and healthcare providers regarding prescription details.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures.
- Collaborating with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN HIGHLIGHTS:
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 1p-11p
- Location: Portland, ME – 100% on site
- This is a closed-door (non-retail) pharmacy tech role
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and shortterm disability insurance
- 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- The compensation for this position is $17.50 per hour
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
- Verifiable High School Diploma
- Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
- Pharmacy Technician license in the State of ME required
- National Certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months of pharmacy tech experience
