Job Summary:

Precision Builders LLC is seeking a dynamic Traveling Project Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial and restaurant construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate and oversee project activities. This role offers health insurance options, paid travel expenses including per diem, and an opportunity to join our growing team!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Developing a schedule and cost-effective plan for completion of assigned projects
• Coordinating and scheduling the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers
• Regularly inspecting work for quality and timeliness
• Monitoring budget throughout the project and communicating variances.
• Addressing safety violations or other deficiencies
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Preparing work schedules and assignments
• Communicating and enforcing safety procedures and site rules

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Must have a minimum of 3 year’s experience as a Project Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs for reporting, file sharing, and communication.
• Must be able to effectively and concisely communicate with members of internal and external teams.
• Ability to read plans, perform material take-offs, and compile and send out daily and weekly reporting/pictures of progress.
• Understanding the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal process

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with Bluebeam or similar software for reading plans.
• Proficient with MS 360
• Detail-oriented, with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to research effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
