Fixture Installer – Travel Required

Compensation: $20.00 per hour starting pay

Location: Various locations across the United States

Travel: Extensive travel required. Candidates must reside near a Southwest Airlines hub and be prepared for multi-week travel assignments without weekly returns home.

Job Description:

Join Durango Retail Services, the premier installation company in the U.S., and become part of a dynamic team in a growing company! We specialize in updating and replacing checkout fixtures in grocery stores, including candy and magazine racks. Our work involves the removal of existing products, dismantling old fixtures, installing new units, restocking with select retained and new products, labeling, and finalizing setups with store managers. We are looking for energetic, hardworking, and outgoing individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. Experience in merchandising is a plus, but we offer training for those new to the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel extensively across the country for project assignments.

  • Remove and install checkout fixtures in grocery stores.

  • Stock and tag new fixtures.

  • Coordinate with store managers to finalize installations.

  • Handle products and setup materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Maintain communication and documentation using a smartphone.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a current and valid REAL ID license.

  • Able to obtain a 5+ year driving record.

  • Ability to work various shifts and adapt to varying project hours (20-50 hours per week, project-dependent).

  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, standing, squatting, pushing, and pulling.

  • Detail-oriented and able to work well in team settings.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Previous merchandising and reset experience.

  • Proficient in setting products according to provided planograms and inserting price tags.

  • Experience in reading planograms.
