Bistro Food Service Associate - Breakfast Ambassador

Bistro Food Service Associates are friendly and reliable people. They are involved in customer service, food preparation, cleaning, barista/bartending duties, and sometimes event preparation. A cheerful demeanor, team orientation and customer service skills are needed for this position. Two shifts are available, morning and evening. Evening associates must be at least 21 years old.

Breakfast Ambassadors are dependable, independent, and orientated toward service. They follow clear guidance for food preparation and presentation and cleaning. Work is early in the mornings, starting at 5:30 weekdays, and 6:30 weekends for 5-6 hours. There is no age restriction for the Breakfast Ambassador position.

• Performs outlet opening or closing duties.
• Ensures adherence to outlet guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Conducts Bistro activities to ensure quality production/delivery of product/service.
• Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience.
• Supervises completion of required set up / preparation, at beginning of shift and clean up restocking at end of shift.
• Inspects all equipment prior to, during and at end of shift, and addresses any needed repairs.
• Inventories supplies at beginning of shift, obtains supplies necessary to support forecasted level of business.
• Other duties as assigned including needs of function room and events.

• Experience in food preparation is not required, but an open and learning attitude is required.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to take direction from supervisor.
• Ability to work either morning (5:30a-11:00a) or evening shifts (4:30-11:00p), flexibility is a big plus.
