Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
ATC Youngstown is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medsurg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Dothan, AL. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a salary of $1600 per week, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or registered nurses
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse
• Assist with the admission and discharge process of patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in electronic health records

Requirements:
• Must be a licensed practical nurse in the state of AL
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting
• Primary address must exceed 50+ miles from Dothan, AL
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records
