Construction Estimator Coordinator
LHH is looking for a Construction Estimator Coordinator in the West Palm Beach, FL area. The Estimator Coordinator is responsible for gather proposals for estimators and keeping order of all construction documents for construction. They will work closely with the Subcontractors, Clients, and Company’s Project Executives, Managers and Superintendents. Must have a min of 3-5 years of experience.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain the subcontractor database, including proper contacts and registering/inputting new subcontractors using CRM software (SmartBid)
Issue Prequalification package and maintain database.
Verify Pre-Qual information and check references
Maintain preconstruction file system, including assigning new preconstruction project numbers, refining the file system based on Preconstruction consensus.
Assist in tasks as needed within the preconstruction department.
Extracting and Saving plan files to combined/grouped or individual pdf’s
Organize meetings and conferences
Organize and update bid calendars
Bid Solicitation
Prepare Bid Packages for Solicitation using the ITB software (Smartbid)
Uploading drawings to Dropbox or similar and sending/ordering plans to the print shop
Print Sub proposals, organize by division into binder and organize electronic storage.
Prepare turnover package to Operations with successful proposals.
Assist in the recruitment of subcontractor bidding on upcoming bids.
Assist business development and preconstruction with proposal submission, and presentations.
Assist preconstruction with the completion of bid document requirements.
Send out notification of current project status.
Additional Responsibilities

Prepare documents and plans for bidding
Assist in prequalification of vendor/subcontractors.
Manage print production of plans and specs
Assists with Company marketing events
Coordinating meetings and preparing minutes
Calling and Emailing Vendors for quotes, qualifications, and other information
Updating vendor/subcontractor information on company database
Educational and Experience Requirements
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to maintain good relationships with project management team, peers, subcontractors, and owners.
Maintain database log for bids and change orders.
Handle phone calls and messages
Document organization and filing
Experience in the construction industry preferred
Customer service experience
Pricing requests from Vendors.
Compensation: $65-$70K
