Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an on-site position in GUADALUPE, CA. This contract role involves working with an elementary caseload of approximately 55 students.

Job Description:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports regarding student progress and services provided.

Responsibilities:

• Work with students in grades K-5 with various speech and language disorders.
• Administer standardized assessments and analyze results to develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve students' communication abilities.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and parents on speech and language strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active California state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting, is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
