We are offering a role based in Columbus, Ohio, in the telecom industry. The role is for a Quality Assurance Analyst on a contract basis. The job function involves overseeing data integration projects and leading a team of ETL developers. In addition, the successful candidate will ensure the successful extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various source systems into a data warehouse or other targets. They will also interact with business partners to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee data integration projects to ensure successful execution and completion.
• Lead a team of ETL developers, providing guidance and support as necessary.
• Ensure the successful extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various source systems into data warehouses or other targets.
• Maintain clear and open communication with business partners to understand their data requirements.
• Deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of business partners.
• Utilize skills in Quality, SQL, Targets, Business Partners, Data Warehousing, Transformation, ETL - Extract Transform Load, Extraction, Source System, and Datastage to execute job functions.
• Continually monitor and assess data quality and integrity, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments as necessary to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data integration and ETL processes.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving data integration processes and procedures.• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst role or similar
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with SQL
• Demonstrable experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Datastage
• Ability to understand and manage Source System extraction
• Experience in Data Transformation
• Proven track record in reaching set targets
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with Business Partners
• Strong understanding of quality principles, techniques, and tools
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
