Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to students with disabilities in Illinois. The successful candidate will work remotely to deliver individualized instruction, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with a team of educators and support staff to ensure the academic and social success of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction in accordance with students' IEP goals and objectives.
• Develop and adapt instructional materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Conduct virtual assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to facilitate student learning and growth.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, attendance, and services provided.
• Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development activities, and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a virtual or remote setting.
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
• Reliable internet connection and proficiency in using virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
