Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule (Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
Contract Details: 12 months (4-month right-to-hire)
Pay Rate: $30hr
Flight Safety is a leading company in the aviation industry dedicated to providing high-quality training and safety solutions. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. The Recruiting Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our recruitment efforts, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process for all candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and updates.
- Assist with the creation and posting of job descriptions on various job boards and platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and drug screenings, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist with the coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs and networking events.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and team members to continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and recruitment team as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a recruiting coordination or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms.
- Certification in HR or recruiting (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
