CLOSET INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality and detail-oriented carpentry work
• Understand and follow written instructions / design schematics
• Safely drive a company vehicle
• Comfortably and confidently interact with clients in their home or place of business
• Safely operate power tools
• Lift and maneuver heavy materials
• Participate in on-the-job training
• Work well with other team members
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to undergo and pass a background check
• Moderate carpentry skills (cutting and removing baseboards, altering material dimensions, locating studs and anchoring units to walls, toe nailing, using shims to level, among others)
• Ability to follow design plans and read a tape measure
• Experience and comfort with power tools (table saw, circular saw, band saw, Miter saw, drill, impact driver, multi-tool, finish nailer, among others)
• Ability to stand for several hours, lift heavy materials in excess of 50 pounds, climb stairs, grasp and reach, crouch and kneel, and balance
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to commit to work hours on a week-by-week basis
• Detail oriented
• Strong communicator
• Trustworthy, well-groomed, and neat appearance
• Prior closet installation experience is a plus, but not required

• Compensation of $20-$25 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
• Part-time employment (W-2) based on need
