Housekeeper/Server, Meadows Senior Living in Spring Green, WI

Let your versatility shine in a dual role! We're hiring a Housekeeper/Server who enjoys cleaning to ensure our senior living campus remains beautiful, in addition, to serving our residents meals which will be prepared by our Chef.

Hours Available:
Full-Time, including every other weekend 10:30am-6:30pm

PAY:
Up to $22.00, based on experience

What Make Us Different?
ElderSpan Management LLC, which manages Meadows Senior Living, is a local Wisconsin family-owned company that began because Greg and Carol Griffin were seeking care for Carol's mother, who was battling Parkinson's disease. Not finding what they were looking for, Greg's expertise as a hospital administrator and Carol's as a Registered Nurse motivated them to develop a new resident-centered, healthcare-focused assisted living model. They opened their first facility in 1995.

ElderSpan has now grown to managing seven senior living residences located in southwest and south central Wisconsin and offers a rich culture and strong history built on taking remarkable care of its residents and gifted employees. We are proud to share that many of our employees have worked with us for more than five years! We have licensed nurse's (Care Coordinators) onsite at each facility. All of our Administrators are licensed nurses.

Qualifications of a Housekeeper/Server:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Support up to 100 pounds
• Six or more months of cleaning experience, preferred
• Three or more months of serving meals experience, preferred

Responsibilities of a Housekeeper/Server:
Serves nutritious meals and cleans and tidies the facility to support each resident's person-centered Plan of Care (POC). This typically includes:

• Serving customized, nutritious and appealing meals prepared by our Chef
• General cleaning of resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathroom facilities, removing garbage, etc.
• General cleaning of all-purpose areas (front foyer, hallways, laundry, dining room, shower rooms, activity room, living rooms, beauty shop, stairwell and dry storage) including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning floors and dusting furniture, washing windows, polishing metalwork, dusting blinds, etc.
