Asphalt Lute/Raker Laborer

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Lute/Raker Laborer to join our team! If you have asphalt paving experience and are looking to grow your career, we want to speak with you!

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in paving and lute/raking is required.
• Out of town/county/or state work may be required.
• Required to perform daily maintenance on tools and to ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of each shift
• Ability to follow traffic control instructions and practice safety standards per company safety policy requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-year experience as a Lute/Raking Laborer.
• The Asphalt Lute Person primary function is to use the lute rake to straighten asphalt joints and for hand working areas the paving machine is unable to reach.
• The Asphalt Lute Person is required to perform daily maintenance on tools and to ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of each shift.
• In addition, the Asphalt Lute Person is expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of tools and equipment.
• General clean up around job site.
• Checking and maintaining grade stakes.
• Must be able to identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment
