About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Private Duty Nurse to join our team in the Home Health Care Services. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to patients in their homes. Your primary goal will be to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care and support, while maintaining their dignity and independence. You will work closely with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill, compassion, and dedication.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active nursing license LPN or RN
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working with patients with complex medical needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to report reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Certification in a specialized area of nursing
- Experience working in home health or hospice care
- Bilingual
- Experience with electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Communicate regularly with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals
- Writing a comprehensive daily report
Skills:
As a Private Duty Nurse, you will use your clinical expertise, communication skills, and attention to detail to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes. You will need to be able to work independently, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
