Custom Crate Assembler

The Custom Crate Assembler will perform a variety of woodshop duties, using power tools, saws, and other woodworking equipment to produce custom fabricated crates for our clients in the medical and defense industries. This position requires knowledge of fractions/maths and proficiency with power tools and hand tools to ensure efficient production processes.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in carpentry, framing cabinetry, or other wood-related industries. Candidates from other fields will be considered if they have strong woodworking skills and a passion for craftsmanship.

Schedule: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Duties:
Build bases, pallets and wall sets from design drawings with on-the-job training
Assist in quality control processes to uphold product standards.
Follow established procedures and guidelines to meet production targets.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Operate woodworking hand tools and equipment safety. Prioritize safety on all projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist in maintaining a clean shop
Ability to become internally certified to operate a forklift; safely operate forklifts once certification is obtained.


 

Required qualifications:
