Bartender

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team at Corktown Taphouse. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in providing a top-notch experience for our guests by crafting exceptional cocktails, serving a wide selection of beverages and maintaining a welcoming bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and making personalized drink recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring the bar is fully equipped.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and ensure responsible service.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest beverage trends and bring creative ideas to the bar menu.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is required (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of craft beers, cocktails, and spirits.
• Tips & Servsafe Certified
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Michigan.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
