Crossroads at Northglenn Assisted Living is seeking to add an experienced part-time server to our team! We are a medium sized assisted living community that offers 3 meals per day to our residents. 

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Server to join our team! The Server is the face of our community and plays an integral role in our customer’s dining experience. You will build rapport with residents, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. 

Responsibilities: 

• Take food and beverage orders from residents
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff
• Check with customers periodically during their meals to ensure they are satisfied
• Maintains kitchen and dining area in a safe and sanitary condition for self, residents and others
•  Performs food preparation and food service duties as required according to facility guidelines and the current standards of practice 
•  Responds to resident dietary requests in a positive and cooperative manner
• Assists residents by providing a restaurant-style atmosphere
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a server is preferred, experience in a senior living setting is ideal
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
