Licensed Practical Nurse

An exciting part-time and/or full-time opportunity for an LPN to be part of a physician practice that specializes in urogynecology (women’s health) is now available for a leadership minded healthcare professional. Applicant should have high quality communication skills to work with peers, patients and physicians. Applicant must be able to perform regular and required nurse duties and perform as part of the team.

Hours for part time will be 2-3 days per week along with covering for vacations.  Full time nurse, the hours are 40 hrs. a week (Monday-Friday).

SOME DUTIES INCLUDE

Assisting physician and performing procedures related to urogynecology, i.e. cystoscopy, urodynamics, bladder instillations, voiding trials, etc. Triage and patient education. Working within the clinical area, assisting with patient care.

CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Participation of all office clinical operations as they pertain to medical documentation/charting, patient scheduling/flow. Working with patients directly and via the phone with triage, etc.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS

Coordinate and supervise stocking, autoclaving, and cleaning per OSHA and office protocols. Perform inventory for orders of medical / surgical supplies.
