12 Hour Day Shift - Full-time / Part-time

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to performing activities necessary to support the receipt, replenishment, packaging, ordering picking and shipment of product while maintaining inventory accuracy within the CooperVision Distribution Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High-school Diploma or GED is required.
2. Ability to work in a warehouse environment; including hot temperatures during summer season.
3. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
4. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently if required.
5. Must possess basic computer skills in order to navigate documents and enter data.
6. Ability to perform basic mathematic and problem solving skills
7. Previous warehouse/production experience is preferred.
8. Must submit to a drug screen and background check post offer
9. GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at designated start times.
2. Alternative schedule; work less days per month and benefit from guaranteed 8 hrs OT pay each 48 hour week.
3. As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays.
4. Immediately informs coordinator/supervisor of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions.
5. Seeks assistance from coordinator/supervisor in identifying and reporting problems or concerns relating to job function.
6. Adapts readily to changes in workload, staffing and scheduling.
7. Complies with all company policies and procedures.
8. Exhibits good communication skills; verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language
9. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

1. Gathers product and material used for packaging as required by work orders.
2. Inserts blister arrays or single blisters into equipment to be labeled, cut, boxed, or glued.
3. Performs basic packaging and software operations.
4. Manually packs product not packed by machine.
5. Understands, acknowledges and follows quality requirements and all SOPs.
6. Understands and follows department safety policies and other company policies.
7. Performs other duties as required.
8. Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers.
9. As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily Packaging requirements.
10. As business dictates, employees may spend 100% of the day performing one particular task or may spend 50% of the day performing 1 task and the other 50% performing a second task.
