Here Are the Highest Paying Seasonal Jobs

It’s official, the Holiday Hiring season is here. This means you will start to see a lot more job openings start to pop up. In fact, it turns out that 82 percent of employers will be hiring extra staff for the holidays!

So, where should you start?

We talked to over 1,000 employers hiring this season to get a feel for what you can expect in a seasonal job. Spoiler alert: It’s going to be a great season for hiring

This is exciting news as all estimated wages are above the federal minimum wage of $7.25. In fact, 79 percent of employers agree that the minimum wage should be raised overall.

While many people think of retail as the big employer during the holidays, we find that hiring is up across the board. You’ll also want to look at restaurants, hospitality, warehouse and delivery services as all industries will be looking for extra help this summer.

But, don’t put off applying for seasonal jobs. The majority of seasonal workers will be hired by the end of October! The earlier you start looking for and applying to jobs, the more openings you’ll find and the more opportunity you’ll have. Think about how nice it will be when all your friends are scrambling for jobs at the last minute and you’ve already secured one.
