Field Service Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for one of our manufacturing clients based out of North Aurora. This is an immediate need and will be a long term opportunity for a qualified candidate with an Electrical, Automation and Controls background. The main responsibilities include customer service work to assist with customer requirements including (machine down situations, upgrades, changes, production support / training and acceptance testing of machinery). Must be able to interface well with customers, contractors, and lead installation team.

Additional work responsibility includes assisting Control group with concept, electrical design, software development, startup, debug, and acceptance testing of machinery both on site and at the customer's site.

MANDATORY KNOWLEDGE
- Programming of A-B Logix platforms
- Factory Talk View ME and SE (Formerly called RSView)
- AutoCAD basics
- A minimum of 3 years experience with automated assembly machinery

HIGHLY DESIREABLE KNOWLEDGE:
- Hands on experience building and wiring machinery
- Cognex In-Sight
- C++ , VB, .NET
- Siemens S7 STL
- Siemens Pro-Tool and/or WinCC Flex
- FDA validation of machinery
- AutoCAD electrical

30% Design & Drafting, Mechanical Debug, Software development & debug
70% Service travel within US and Mexico (occasional international travel)
