Test Engineer

An electronics manufacturing company near Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer. This position is responsible for the entire design and building of all test fixtures, as well as ensuring test equipment and programs meet customer and company standards. Qualified candidates will have at least three years experience in automated testing an a degree on computer science or a similar field. Typical responsibilities are listed below.

- Develops and/or monitors development of test equipment design and assembly fixture design to insure accuracy and standardization in product testing.
- Advises purchasing on vendor selection, processes purchase requisitions and authorizes payment on completion.
- Estimates fixture cost and completion dates for proposed products.
- Investigates product testing, checking methods, new testing techniques, insuring standardization and efficiency.
- Stays up to date on new test requirements imposed by government or customer.
- Analyzes proposed component systems, making suggestions for efficient assembly and checking of product.
- Schedules all fixture design and build, including planning work loads and timing of projects to meet completion dates.
- Participates in the establishment of testing specifications and standards. Writes and institutes testing procedures.
- Oversees warranty analysis work.
