Overview:
The primary function of this position is to support the category space analyst in all facets of the Wal-Mart modular relay process. This position will be expected to learn the basics of space planning, space analytics, and the Wal-Mart modular relay process.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of this position is to provide for space management and section merchandising on the assigned categories at Wal-Mart
- Build all versions of base modulars during the relay process
- Gather product specific and/or shelving information (physical characteristics) at the store level either manually or with space technology software
- Assist in all analytical questions and projects preparing for the relay process
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in Windows, Excel, and related software applications.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to communicate effectively and present a professional image.
- Knowledge of space technology software and understanding of CPG retail functions is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and strong organizational skills is preferred.
- Must be a self-starter and be willing to take ownership in your responsibilities and as well as your career path.
