About this job
As a Manufacturing Design Engineer, your responsibilities would include the following:
���Reduce costs and improve the performance of the plant by developing and implementing new plastic injection tooling manufacturing methods and processes.
���Provide engineering support for injection molding processes including engineering support for vendors, manufacturing floor, along with working closely with our manufacturing and product engineering groups.
���Working closely with and giving direction to the mold maintenance shop.
���Produce and maintain detailed manufacturing procedures with sufficient detail to support training requirements and provide for product portability between manufacturing locations.
���Assist in capital equipment selection and justification for new and replacement tooling.
