Position Summary
• Provides daily oversight of positioning and the promotion of products for categories of SamsClub.com. • Leads categorization of items for categories on SamsClub.com. • Leads strategy for promotions and new product launches in their assigned category. • Optimizes the online shopping experience to increase conversion through site presentation and product merchandising by looking at sales & web analytics, as well as online shopping best practices. • Creates new & updated category pages to highlight trends, promotions and member needs. • Selects featured products and promotions for key pages, e.g. category pages and marketing landing pages • Works cross functionally with our analytics teams to understand member behavior through web analytics and creates reporting as needed to achieve this. • Partners with the creative team to drive visual strategy for category and marketing landing pages. • Partners with the user experience and engineering teams to plan updates to ensure a best-in-class member shopping experience. • Partners closely with the digital and category marketing teams to drive site traffic through external marketing efforts. • Monitors the competitive landscape and member behavior to determine purchase path flow needs and taxonomy updates. • Leads category specific special projects.
Position Description
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
4+ years of experience in Project Management in an agile environment
4+ years of experience in complex (retail and digital) environment.
2+ years of working in/with Site Merchandising team

Position Description
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Site Merchandising and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
- Develops and plans the visual merchandising and seasonal site strategies of departments and campaigns
- Identifies and establishes department-, category-, or campaign-level key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and forecasts
- Influences cross-functional business leaders in establishing business objectives and goals
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
- Provides direction to creative team
- Provides leadership within Site Merchandising team
