Position Summary
This position is instrumental in implementing key initatives with the appropriating accounting in place to ensure a strong control environment and financial reporting. This position works closely with the financial reporting teams, engineering, product management and the business to understand the key initatives to then develop the appropriate finance requirements. This position will assess key areas to review, identify improvement opportunities and drive resolution.
Position Description
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of accounting principles. Documents and creates systems, operations, accounting, and reporting flows for medium-scale business processes. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Proactively implements process improvements and supports innovation to increase level of accuracy, minimize risks or realize efficiencies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required
2-5 years of relevant accounting experience (Big 4 or Fortune 500 preferred)
Good working knowledge of Excel, Access, SAP and Essbase
Must understand and be able to apply basic accounting concepts and US GAAP principles
MBA/CPA preferred
