Job Description/Position Title: Manager

The Little Beet is a farm to table inspired concept where the highest quality ingredients are prepared throughout the day from scratch and transformed into delicious sandwiches, grain & legume salads, leafy salads, fresh pressed juices, and soups. Our mission is to reshape the quick service industry by making wholesome ingredients prepared from scratch, accessible, affordable, and fast.

In our managers-we look for the total package-passion, enthusiasm, the ability to lead high performing teams, and most of all the ability to inspire the staff underneath them to grow into leaders themselves. This position requires someone who likes to cook, lead, motivate, and most of all-serve awesome food.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be considered, you should:

• Be humble, hard-working, and a team player
• Be completely comfortable working the line alongside your team (this is not only a management role -- our expectation is that you will work alongside your team)
• Have 1-2 years experience in the food industry managing inventory, PARS, ordering product, negotiating prices, managing schedules, optimizing labor, and a solid understanding of analyzing a P/L statement
• Have extensive experience managing food delivery programs
• Have experience putting together large catering orders for high-end clients
• Have a supreme understanding and awareness of food safety and maintaining compliance with the Health Department
• Have the desire to be a firm but fair leader who wants to see their employees grow and achieve success (and in the best case, replace you as you move up to the next level)
• Be cool under pressure and a people person who leads by example
