Principal Architect, Engineering

Position Summary

- Overall architect responsibility for the global platform - front end.

Position Description

• Assists in the development of engineers and architects
• Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
• Demonstrates and proves hardware or software technology concepts to other architects and management
• Develops and implements product development strategies using Agile development processes
• Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
• Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
• Guides business strategy efforts
• Identifies and implements strategies for service enabled technologies (for example, service oriented architecture)
• Improves the hardware or software technology environment
• Influences the direction of Engineering within the organization
• Leads hardware or software technology projects
• Leads hardware or software technology strategy development and implementation
• Oversees the development of conceptual, logical, or physical hardware or software application designs
• Provides overall direction for technical architecture of hardware or software systems

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 years experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software

Additional Preferred Qualifications

- Retail experience is a plus
