Position Description

• Coordinates the flow of promotional quantities, seasonal demand, and new item launches
• Creates and implements strategies to grow market share in the market
• Cultivates and develops talent in clubs
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Meat, Bakery, Produce, Floral, Dairy, and Frozen product categories and operational techniques and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Drives Sam's Club Fresh area financial and operational performance for the market
• Drives inventory management within clubs
• Drives market Fresh performance
• Ensures Meat, Bakery, Produce, Floral, Dairy, and Frozen Fresh area training (for example, regulatory compliance, sanitation and food safety protocol) is executed within the market
• Ensures execution of Fresh merchandising plans and operational direction
• Ensures products are evaluated for quality, proper packaging, availability, and presentation
• Identifies sustainability and/or product waste opportunities and community outreach and implements solutions and programs
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Business Management or related field and 2 years experience in retail management or related field OR 6 years experience in retail management or related field.
