Sr. IT Manager - Full-time

A successful Sr. IT Manager will have the following:

• BA/BS in a business or a technical discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, accounting) and/or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ten (10) years proven experience eliciting and driving business requirements at multiple levels (business, system, technical), using multiple methodologies, across complex projects that impact multiple systems and business teams
• Experience managing enterprise-level teams; exceptional leadership capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex IT systems and infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, and the ability to build and manage relationships with clients across all levels and departments of a Fortune 200 company

At DISH, we operate a very complex set of business critical applications that facilitate the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service of all DISH products. The Enterprise Business Relationship Management Team is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with each of our Business Partners.  The team manages the project intake process by focusing on understanding initiative priorities based on business impact and facilitating clear business requirements to turn into application solutions.

The candidate must bring a strong desire to lead the BRM team and grow relationships with each respective business partner. The ideal candidate has a strong background in representing value proposition specific to business goals and process improvement.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Day-to-day operational management of Business Relationship Management team (10+ analysts); foster a team environment that promotes accountability, growth, and creative thinking
• Participate in leadership roles and take full ownership for projects
• Assist the System Analyst team in translating business requirements into high quality, consistent, and thorough technical requirements, use cases, and other documentation associated with projects
• Collaborate with project managers, development managers, and test managers to ensure that the Intake process is efficient, consistent and drives value into our applicatons
• Identify barriers to meeting project goals and identify solutions to keep projects on track
• Make effective decisions under pressure and think analytically
