About This Opportunity
The primary function of a Business Partner is to support Target's Transportation and Logistics operations by supporting and developing strategies, programs and processes related to Target's supply chain. Establish processes and work on projects to support the international and domestic movement of product. Create best methods for both internal and external partners in accordance with rules and regulations to ensure compliance and an optimal supply chain network.

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Logistics Business Partner, you'll take the lead:
Project, Process, and Program Management
Assist in creation of internal processes related to Transportation Supply Chain. Supports and provides recommendations for projects and programs such as end to end supply chain initiatives and international supply chain optimization. Analyzes information and produces recommendations from initial analysis or inputs from other teams to be integrated with projects.

Consulting and Process Improvement
Assist in creation of internal processes and procedures. Assist in development of process documentation related to Transportation procedures and systems. Ensure consistency and clarity so all processes stay current and are updated on schedule. Recommend appropriate responses to regulatory agency, external vendors and internal partner inquiries. Manages relationships with internal partners to keep them informed on Transportation & Logistics perspective and impact related to supply chain initiatives.

Compliance and Risk
Support compliance programs by analyzing and maintaining records applicable to Target's International and Domestic business needs. Follow up with internal and external partners to address gaps in information, gather necessary information related to business and compliance risk to be incorporated into Logistics' perspective and recommendations. Stays current on Transportation industry trends through research and benchmarking.

Computer Usage
Use Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project to support programs and projects for the Transportation team. Create documents for presentations, training, processes and policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Expectations: 4 year degree or equivalent
Job Related Experience: 2 years
Specific Experience: Strong communication skills Previous Transportation or Supply Chain experience Comfort with ambiguity Good problem solving and project management experience
